Job Description:
This temporary onsite assignment in Hartford, CT is for a yearly project which includes a high volume of inbound/outbound phone calls, processing returned mail, internet research and updating database. Initial screening for qualified candidates will be conducted by phone interview Dec 11-14, 2017.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Able to handle high volume of inbound/outbound calls
• Answer calls and respond to provider’s questions regarding HEDIS
• Document calls accurately
• Reference available resources to perform job assignments efficiently
• Identify and escalate issues to State Leads via email
• Complete call logs with required information for quality review
• Enter and update provider demographic information into database
• Conduct follow up calls to provider offices who have not responded to requests by deadline
• Research and process returned mail daily
• Faxing request for information to provider offices – HIPAA compliance required
• Perform miscellaneous administrative assignments as needed

• Experience in a call center environment (inbound/outbound calls)

• Ability to multi-task in a production-driven environment

• Accurate alpha/numeric data entry
• Experience with office equipment (fax, copier, telephone)
• Proficiency with relevant computer applications (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word)

• Dress in business casual attire

Education and Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Computer skills
• Good data entry and typing skills
• Telephone customer service or call center
• Knowledge of medical terminology

 

Additional Job Details:

• Required: Submit professional references only with resume to be reviewed prior to scheduling of interview • Project duration 12-14 weeks depending on need and demonstrated performance. • During peak project times expect 40 hours/week, but there are times during the project when hours can be less.
