Qualifications:

• University Degree (BA degree) or equivalent work experience Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in financial analysis and forecasting. General knowledge of other divisional disciplines. Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organizational objectives.  • Cost accounting / Finance operations of 5-10 years of experiences. Heavy experience in fixed assets and capital investments. • Proficient in MS Suite. Very strong Excel experience, including pivot tables and formulas. • Strong financial and business acumen with demonstrated analytical ability accompanied by manufacturing costing principles. • Knowledge of internal systems and applications and experience with bill of materials, inventory valuation, standard costing, and ERP/MRP systems, Oracle experience a plus  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, inside and outside the unit. • Ability to work with integrity and build trust. • Advanced ability using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to clearly communicate results of analysis and provide recommendations • Commitment to process improvement • Attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities • Work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Responsibilities:

The financial analyst is responsible for finance support and business partnership of the manufacturing facilities in the pursuit of continuous improvements in cost, inventory, and quality & delivery performance of the manufacturing sites. The role also supports the plant controller / regional controller for the complete financial integrity of these facilities including integrity of all assets, inventory control, product costing, factory reporting & account reconciliations as well. The role reports directly to the plant controller / regional controller. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication and influencing skills within and outside of Finance. Provides management with key insight into financial performance highlighting areas of improvement, identify root causes and partner with management on corrective actions and improvement plans under plant controller / regional controller guidance. The successful candidate is expected to ensure management information requirements are adequately met with standard financial metrics, updated performance reports and analysis. Provides management with financial support on business decisions. This person is expected to play a key business partnership role with local management and other functions to deliver productivity improvements, cost reduction plans, working capital improvements, and capital efficiency. Examples: labor resource planning, capital investment decisions including scenario analysis and evaluation. Assist plant controller / regional controller in submission of the complete plant budget and forecast as required by the central Operations Finance function. Perform monthly close including journal entries, accruals analysis, account reconciliations, and monthly reporting packages – inventory reporting, scrap reporting etc. Manage all aspects of the standard cost, including new items set up, annual and provisional reviews of all standards. Prepares & submits capital expenditure requests coordinating approval process as required by the site in accordance with company guidelines. Provides product line margin and cost analysis in support of key franchise portfolio decision-making. Summarizes results in formats that are comprehensive, consistent and in a format that can be used by business leaders. This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site). Engage others, promote, and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.
