Please note, this is for a Prior Authorization Pharmacist. No Pharmacist option on Rate Card. 0 with applicable mark up. This is a work from home position from anywhere in US, however must be available to train 9-5:30 ET M-F for first 4 weeks, then schedule will be based on business need and time zone. Saturday or Sunday rotation will be required after training (max every 3rd weekend, day off in same pay period) Prior Authorization Pharmacist will perform clinical review of prior authorization requests. He/she will Utilize clinical experience and skills to apply the appropriate clinical criteria/guideline, policy, procedure and clinical judgment to render appropriate coverage determinations. Requirements: • Must have a current unrestricted state pharmacist license in state of residence; RPh or Pharm.D degrees • This is a clinical position, so candidates must be an independent-thinker, dependable, and reliable to perform job expectations and meet production metrics as they will be measured upon that. • All training will be remote Position requires proficiency with computer skills which includes navigating multiple systems and keyboarding (please include basic outlook and WORD proficiency testing scores) • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, as they will be interacting with other healthcare professionals. Must have HIPPA compliant home office with computer and high speed internet. Pharmacist must use own phone and computer for training and until computers and phones are received. Phones provided are VPN and must be connected directly to modem. Expected length of contract is until April or May depending on business need, however there will be potential to convert to FTE. There may also be potential to work reduced hours or return after taking the summer off for those with good quality and production.
