This position has the primary responsibility of supporting the Development of Dispersions Functional Polymers for the Adhesive, Construction and Architectural Coatings (ACP) Industries. High School diploma is required with 6 years practical laboratory experience, an Associate's degree with 4 years practical laboratory experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field. Duties include, but are not limited to, mixing chemicals, developing suspensions, testing samples, process documentation.SKILLS: - Minimum work experience - 3 years of laboratory focused experience - Experience in laboratory activity - performance experiments, familiarity with pH measurement, basic chemical mixing, basic chemical conversion and mass balance calculation is required- Experience in vendor management - ordering materials, cataloging materials is a plus- Experience in technical documentation desired- Basic knowledge of chemical instrumentation required- Basic knowledge of chemical compatibility required- Basic knowledge of chemical handling and chemical storage required- College level (Junior level) understanding of chemistry, physics and engineering required- Detailed oriented and with high sensitivity to timeline is a must- Proactive in task management and ability to address/take care of basic laboratory facilitation - Experience in laboratory hygienes and chemical preparation and mixing hygienes EDUCATION- 4 year degree in Chemistry or Chemical engineering or Materials engineering with at least 3 years of experience or - 2 year degree (AS) in Chemistry, or Engineering with at least 5 years of experience None smoking candidates preferred

Greenhouse Technician (50% Lab, 50% Greenhouse) Day shift 7-3 pm hrs. Core Work week is Fri, Sat, Sun Mon. 5th day can be either Thursday or Tuesday. ( Must be able to work weekends) The greenhouse technicians will be responsible for supporting plant maintenance team in daily greenhouse and growth chamber operation in our plant biotechnology research division. The individual will be part of the Plant Management team that has specific responsibility to produce high quality plant material and assist in the daily operations of the greenhouse and plant growth chamber facilities to support diverse programs in plant biotechnology research and development. The main focus of the candidate will be to provide service to projects to ensure successful soybean, corn, rice and canola plant growth and seed increases. The position will assist in all phases of plant production, controlled pollinations and seed production, pest monitoring, inventory and seed harvesting. In addition, candidate will assist in monitoring critical greenhouse and environmental growth chamber controls and equipment, particularly during times when the site is closed on weekend and holiday periods. Proper notebook documentation, written and oral communication of results is essential. Additional duties will include: 1. Maintaining greenhouses and work areas so they are organized and clean. 2.Assist in daily activities in greenhouses for filling pots, transplanting, watering, plant and seed harvest, plant disposal etc. 3.Follow protocols related to specific crop growth management and research techniques. 4.Keep work areas safe, following Stewardship guidelines. Required qualification: BS degree or equivalent in biology, plant science, or related agricultural field -OR- A.A. degree and 2 years’ experience in research in plant biology or agricultural sciences. Ability to work with very limited supervision. Ability to work in the varied climate of a research greenhouse year round. Work schedule will include weekends (shifted 5 day week) and some holidays. Quality orientation and attention to detail. Efficient work management skills. The individual should be able monitor disease and insects in greenhouses in weekly basis. And assist in applying pesticides in greenhouse environment under the supervision of regular greenhouse staff.
