Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a team or on their own and perform assignments with limited supervision.• Is hands-on and enjoys working with machines and tools, and coming up with new ideas.• Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred• Strong problem-solving skills and well organized• Excellent verbal and written communication• Strong computer skills: MS office• Self-Starter; collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude• Project management skills: strong work ethic and ability to meet work deadlines• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences and Engineering; Polymer Materials F. Education and / or Experience Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in a Chemistry related or MaterialScience field from a four-year college or university with 3 years or more relatedexperience in the Epoxy, Rubber, Plastics Compounding or Coatings Industry; orAssociate’s Degree (A.A.) in Chemistry related or Material Science field with fiveor more years related experience and / or extensive training in the Epoxy, Rubber,Plastics Compounding or Coatings Industry; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments and perform a variety of technical procedures in the development of materials for electronics applications.• Work on special PD development projects as guided by supervisors; Strong laboratory and research skills: compliance with all safety regulations, sound lab technique and good record keeping• Gather and analyze data using Albert digital system and provide fast communications to supervisors 1. Complete raw material evaluations for replacements and qualityimprovements. *2. Complete laboratory batches and coordinate and participate in testingas needed for approval at automotive OEM customers. *3. Specific material improvement projects as assigned.4. Design and complete controlled experiments as needed.5. Participate in pilot and plant scale runs of products under development.*6. Assist other Client departments as needed.7. Other duties as assigned. Typical Equipment Lab mixers, scales, hotplate, convection ovens, aging ovens, testpanels, basic physical property testing equipment, Instron tensile tester,various environmental test chambers
