To perform this work, you will need to understand complex electrical AC/DC theory, be able to follow electrical drawings and schematics, and apply this knowledge in the field to operate, inspect, maintain and repair equipment and systems at the 6M+ square foot Atlanta airport. In the performance of this complex electrical work, you will be the face of Client for the client, traveling public and concessionaire tenants at the airport. You should be an organized, self-motivated individual with a minimum of 1 to 3 years electrical experience with the ability to trouble-shoot and repair complex electrical circuits, lighting, motor controls and have the ability to reset electrical ground faults. Your experience should be in large industrial settings with experience working with power up to 600V and an in-depth knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC). You should have demonstrated experience where you have the ability to work closely with a skilled, collaborative electrical team, HVAC and other skilled trade personnel, and the ability to use standard electrical testing equipment, including voltage tester, multi-meter, megger and circuit tracer. You should also have some hands-on experience performing electrical maintenance and repairs on secondary distribution panels, electrical switchgears, switchboards, emergency generators, standard lighting systems, emergency lighting systems and installation of electrical conduit. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Electrical Superintendent. To complete this work, our Electrical Technicians may be required to use lifts and ladders (up to 150ft) in the performance of the assigned electrical work. This work may also be required to be completed in a variety of weather conditions. The ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally is required, You should be competent working with technology and have considerable experience using computer work stations, laptops, hand-held personal digital assistants (PDAs) or tablets. All work performed at the AAT Project is entered into an Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS), which requires basic typing skills for the completion of work order documentation. There is one (1) position vacancy at the AAT Project on third shift, which operates from 10PM-6AM. The AAT Project operates 3 shifts daily on a 24/7/365 schedule. Weekend, holiday, and alternate shift work may be required. Other work scheduling requirements may also apply during extreme weather events.
