NOTICE: see below for estimated timeline for interviews, offer and estimated start date. Due to the lengthly onboarding process required by the airport there is a lengthy timeframe between interview, offer and start dates: 

• San Francisco International Airport is expected to schedule interviews between October 29 and November 7 2018 
• San Francisco International Airport is expected to confirm for which candidate they will offer the IT Network Infrastructure PM position before November 30 2018 
• The estimated start date for this position is between January 15 and January 31 2019 


Project manager(s) is responsible for managing a project from beginning to end. They will have managed projects in the area of IT Network Infrastructure. They will be expected to know all aspects of standard Project Management best practices. They should have the following skill sets but not limited to: 

• Creating Project Charter 
• Developing Scope of Work 
• Producing Timelines 
• Managing project team resources 
• Developing Work Breakdown Structures 
• Managing Budgets 
• Building Project Plans 
• Creating Communication Plan 
• Creating and disseminating weekly status reports 
• Managing Project close out 
• Working in a public entity of 1000 people or more. 

Qualifications 
Education 
Essential 
• High School Diploma 
• At least three (3) PM references 
• Project Manager certification/credential (e.g., PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or other comparable certification.) 
• One (1) year working knowledge of Clarity CA PPM (PM reporting software). 
• PM experience working in an Airport environment. 
• Live in the San Francisco metro area 

Skills 
• Thee (3) years of PM experience with IT Network Infrastructure Projects. 
• Three (3) years demonstrated expertise in managing software development projects using agile development, web services, enterprise messaging, cloud computing, Application Program Interfaces (API), mobile design, data services, big data, defining the projects Charter and Scope, building and managing the project plan and project team resources, providing weekly status reporting, documenting and managing risk and issues, demonstrating a professional manner and attitude, and completing other project management tasks as expected to ensure the successful completion of the project. 
• Three (3) years demonstrated expertise in managing network and cabling infrastructure projects, defining the projects Charter and Scope, building and managing the project plan and project team resources, providing weekly status reporting, documenting and managing risk and issues, demonstrating a professional manner and attitude, managing network technicians to review and edit design documents, creating bill of materials, and completing other project management tasks as expected to ensure the successful completion of the project.
