The logistics control analyst is accountable for the overall control and movement of PELCO products and materials. He/she is responsible for remote (offsite) inventory control, warehouse stock control, customer service, traffic and/or shipping direct from PELCO, or by our service locations and partners. The position also serves as a cross-functional liaison both internally and with our external service partners to provide efficient customer service and resolve issues related to inventory and logistics. The position is critical in our pursuit to provide an exceptional customer service experience. This position is in Fresno, California and reports to PELCO’s global service and repair manager.
Facilitate Credit Authorization (CA) process, disposition and product move to PELCO’s distribution centers; manage and negotiate shipping costs and schedules.
Ensure all packaging supplies are ordered for CA and repairs to maximize value.
Track the CA-WIP and disposition on the CA-WIP in a timely manner to optimize budgetary impact.
Ensure all freight charges are entered into PELCO’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Qantel.
Validate the parts consumption for the service work for both warranty and non-warranty ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Create necessary shipping paperwork associated with product shipping to service centers and returned to the customer.
Transfer/ship parts from parts warehouse to different warehouses as needed for shipments consolidations, to deliver per customer requirements.
Receive inventory and non-inventory PO in to Qantel (ERP).
Coordinate functions of service and inventory control and manage inventory levels to support our commitment to TAT (Turnaround Time).
Serve as a liaison among various departments to provide efficient customer service and resolve road blocks. Maintain methods and policies to ensure the most efficient and economical movement of materials into and out locations.
Analyzes and evaluates problems with inventory, delivery, and/or sales orders. Recommends solutions. Provides periodic reports to management.
May track sales shipments, delivery, billing and backlog activity.
Analyze and provide solution for the problem receipt inventory and repairs.
Ensure team skills and time are best utilized to achieve both short and long-term goals.
This job might be for you if have and/or possess:
Associates degree in electrical or electronic engineering, or equivalent educational background.
AES (Automated Export systems) certification is required for this position.
Minimum three years’ service and repair, logistics or inventory management.
Minimum three years’ experience in CCTV or electromechanical products industry
Must be able to travel domestic and international ~20% of the time.
Ability to work outside of normal business hours, if required.
