Job Description
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan the Business
• Derive location plans by month
• Manage Store unit sales planning by class & month
• Calculate and manage Model Stock Replenishment levels required to support sales
• Sales re-forecasting to capture individual store trend shifts
Execution:
• Collaborate across all levels of the organization and across all functions including Operations, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Retail Planning, Training, Marketing and Communications to communicate and execute a comprehensive product and inventory strategy that aligns future financial and product opportunities.
• Support vision to Implement global strategies at local level with excellence
• With effectiveness and speed, serve as the subject matter expert providing insights and analysis with local business stakeholders and global partners.
• Ability to support local market and brand initiatives through preparation and presentations with a strong level of analysis and insights to global partners
• Drive allocation strategy and manage store replenishment frequency, model stock calculation, and system uploads
• Develop initial allocation plan for new product introductions and re-forecast as needed based on updated Supply Chain inbounds
• Provide weekly replenishment unit projects to the DC
• Manage Drop Tracking, Ontime Arrival DC to Store
• Prepare weekly reporting and analytics to present to Manager and Director
Store Management:
• Create and Maintain sophisticated Local Product KPI reporting with qualitative insights at all levels of detail
• Provide local Insights including Market activity and assortment, store, pricing, and feedback.
• Build cross functional relationships with corporate and field partners to proactively evolve best practices to deliver continued retail excellence
Inventory:
• Supports in coordinating and executing Product initiatives supporting Marketing activities.
• Point of contact for local product master data issues– coordinate with relevant team/partner solution to rectify
• Prepare Markdown analytics to determine what items should be taken to initial, further or clearance markdown
• Manage price changes for Vault stores and troubleshoot in-store issues
• Support the “last mile” product planning with Distribution, After Sales Center, and Location planning
• Project manage the execution of the reverse logistics (Recall / RTV) process and timeline in collaboration with the Global Retail team and Store Operations team to support open to buy strategies
• Collaborate with Store Operations and Distribution Center to manage assortment execution for store remodels, openings, and closings
• Align with Store Operations team on Physical Inventory strategies to drive inventory accuracy
• Receive store inventory concerns from field leaders - review and share with global planning team
• Point of contact for local store replenishment shipping issues – coordinate with relevant team/partner a solution to rectify
Project Management:
• Maintain local activity calendar to aligns to brand provided guidelines
• Support product management of Product Tests in partnership with Global Retail team and Store Operations team.
• Provide qualitative feedback on Product tests in support of the local Finance team’s analytics
• Support all local ad-hoc brand project local initiative
