JOB SUMMARY
Support the Plant Controller in the direct supervision of the day-to-day general accounting functions and coordination month end closing process, and daily/weekly monthly financial reporting. Assist in the development of financial plans and forecasts, and the analysis of operational results. Prime day-to-day responsibility will be cost accounting; monitor and report inventories, standard cost revisions and the operating budget will be key responsibilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of cost data through regular review of all inventory and job cost activities for the plant.
• Review job costing- Material, Labor, Overhead and Yield Results. Working with manufacturing to investigate and correct discrepancies.
• Support the Dover Campus in analyzing and reconciling goods in transit on a weekly basis
• Support the Dover campus in setting up revert and alloy rates in our ERP systems as needed.
• Support month end closing process to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of all financial data.
• Load and reconcile financial data monthly for actual and forecast into Hyperion.
• Maintain and publish all Daily/Weekly and Monthly reporting as mandated by corporate requirements
• Prepare weekly and monthly variance analyses.
• Support the preparation and updates to the standard material, labor & overhead rates for inventory valuation and pricing.
• Responsible for daily reporting and daily checkbook.
• Reconcile and prepare various balance sheet accounts reconciliations monthly.
• Manage and maintain the locations SOX self-assessments (ASATs). Work with site coordinator and other departments to ensure compliance with corporate requirements.
• Develop ad hoc reporting using Oracle Discoverer and Hyperion.
• Support and participate the annual physical inventory.




BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Job Costing systems including working knowledge of Bill of Materials and Routing concepts required.

RELOCATION
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Candidates residing within a 50 miles radius of Dover, NJ will only be considered.
