Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- 5 – 10 years of related experience in manufacturing or machine shops
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Have good manual dexterity
- Computer literacy such as Microsoft office
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Enjoy contributing to a diverse manufacturing group
- Able to embrace change
- Be a Team Player
- Must be a highly organized, self-managed individual who works with minimum supervision and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to lift 20 pounds
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE/SUMMARY
This position will support a company rebranding initiative. The chosen candidate will help rework raw materials and finished product to meet new branding guidelines and prepare them for customer shipment. This position will be flexible and may change duties frequently to support the business through this rebranding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a skilled specialist you will complete tasks in effective ways while following manufacturing, schedules, policy and procedures.
- Complete a variety of manufacturing tasks as trained and directed by your supervisor or other employees including but not limited to bonding, potting, hand soldering, sanding, laser engraving, mechanical assembly and minor machining such as buffing, drilling, or grinding.
- Work on assignments requiring judgment, understanding and attention to detail.
- Comply with time and attendance company policies, procedures and work area schedule.
· Follow personal protective equipment guidelines and complete all jobs in a safe manor
