Seeking an Entry level chemist to work in the laboratories to perform a variety of characterization testing generally assist senior professionals. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in one or more of the mentioned techniques and chemistry education and/or experience. With some training and guidance, the position requires some data interpretation and report writing. The position requires someone with hands-on academic or industrial experience in characterization. A Bachelors Degree in a scientific field is required. Other required skills: No Master or PhDs. Working independently with minimum supervision Multitasking Documentation Instrument maintenance Strong oral and written communication skills Computer literacy in Word, and Excel.

Must have bachelor's in Chemistry and at least 2 years of hands on experience with hands on bench work in a lab environment.
Will need to be exceptionally detailed and able to work with a highly meticulous Senior Scientist to assist in developing new formulations. May also conduct some patent research. Will mostly provide support to the R&D group while. Will also provide customer related support as well as plant QA validation support.

This laboratory chemist position is in an application laboratory where the primary scope of work consists of aiding the development of polymer dispersions while supporting manufacturing.
The duties include, but are not limited to:
Preparation of solutions, mixtures, and compounds
Mechanical testing
Chemical analysis
Organizing and maintaining documentation


Skills: We desired a candidate with three years of laboratory experience, familiar with pH measurement, safe laboratory practices, and organic or polymer chemistry. Experience with technical documentation and chemical literature desired. Must have basic knowledge of chemical handling and chemical storage. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset while performing day-to-day laboratory tasks
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have a strong work ethic and self-motivation. High energy. Eager to take direction and get things done.
Schedule: 5 days a week, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (1 hour lunch)
