Qualifications:
What do you bring? High School or GED preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Experience working as part of a team
Experience following quality and safety standards
Experience operating a forklift and / or crane preferred
Experience operating a CNC mill or CNC saw a plus
Experience with MIG welding desirable
Experience with the fabrication, installation and/or assembly of Door or window frames
Experience with 5S preferred
Commitment to working safely and adhering to all safety standards
Attention to detail and ability to closely monitor work process to quality standards
Physical ability to perform repetitive motions and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Ability to accept direction and communicate effectively while being open-minded and flexible
Ability to ask questions and proactively communicate problems to supervision
Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to fill out production paperwork
Ability to use a tape measure, basic hand tools, and basic power tools
Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality

Ability to balance precise work, accuracy, and productivity
Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues
Flexibility to work overtime or varying shifts, if needed

This is a great opportunity with plenty of incentives. Work a consistent schedule, Monday - Friday from 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm. **Initial training period hours are 10 AM - 6:30 PM** What’s the job? The Door Hardware Technician assists with the fabrication of fire-rated framing systems. This includes but is not limited to installing, quality checking, and troubleshooting all types of commercial door hardware. This individual is responsible for effectively working as part of the production team while adhering to safety, quality, housekeeping, and productivity standards.
