Job Description

Qualifications:

Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Experience working as part of a team Experience following quality and safety standards

Experience operating a forklift and / or crane

Experience operating a CNC mill or CNC saw

Experience with MIG welding

Experience with the fabrication, installation and/or assembly of Door or window frames

Experience with 5S

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:• Door Hardware Installation: Install a variety of commercial hardware using appropriate tools and equipment. - Install and configure door hardware, such as locks, handles, exit devices, closers, hinges (standard, concealed and continuous) etc.• Safety Compliance: Ensure that work area and all work performed meet Vetrotech Client standards.• Team collaboration: offering solutions to door-related problems including solutions to customers questions or inquiries about field installation.• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations and provide reports as required.• Troubleshooting: Diagnose, identify, and resolve technical issues with doors efficiently.• Communicate with the Engineering team on efficient solutions to existing/future hardware preps.• Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on installations to ensure they meet company standards.  **HIRING FOR 3RD SHIFT** SUNDAY THRU THURSDAY FROM 10PM - 6:30AM

We are looking for someone with significant experience in commercial hardware. The role entails handling intricate configurations and requires specialized training and skills in fabrication operations, particularly in MG welding or CNC mill operations. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge in these areas to effectively contribute to our team.

- Specific training and skills in fabrication operations, including proficiency in MG welding or CNC mill operations
- Ability to handle complex hardware configurations and troubleshoot issues efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hardware industry
- Certifications or additional training related to commercial hardware and fabrication operations
