Data Analyst Job Duties
Data analysts will maintain data integrity on key supply chain projects. The role will work in team setting with high paced support of contract review process. Candidate will be leverage for ad hoc reporting however, highly repeatable data pulls/submissions will be day to day.
Responsibilities
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Ensuring high quality data is collected and integrity of the data
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Requirements and skills
• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in using analytical tools and instruments for instance Excel, Microsoft Access
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Business, or Statistics (Preferred)
• SAP Experience (Preferred)
Bachelors degree or 5 yrs experience
