Qualifications:
The interview for this position is an onsite Mechanical skills test. If scheduled, candidate should plan for up to three hours to complete the test. Must pass a skills test to move forward, with a 70% or better. Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule:The shift rotates weekly. Employee works Saturday through Friday 7:30am-3:30pmOff Saturday through Tuesday Return Wednesday at 11:30pm-7:30am through Tuesday Off Wednesday and Thursday Return Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm through Thursday Friday off Repeat cycle starting at Saturday through Friday 7:30am-3:30p Maintenance Mechanic Qualified applicants will have prior proven ability to:• Maintain a safe and clean work area• Calibrate, repair, overhaul, maintain, construct, modify and install equipment and components • Maintain, repair, modify building infrastructure • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems (air lines, solenoids)• Inspect, diagnose, and implement corrective actions on equipment and building systems • Review blueprints/technical drawings, and work orders in order to install, troubleshoot, and repair• Perform preventative maintenance• Install, adjust, repair, modify machinery, controls, rigging and installation equipment • Demonstrate knowledge of applicable ‘code’ requirements as may pertain to equipment / buildings• Work independently• A written skill/knowledge test is administered prior to employment offers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS• High School or Technical Diploma• 2-4 years’ manufacturing experience• Experience working ALL SHIFTS• Able to work OT as needed
