General job duties and types of procedures required:
Generalist Technologist working in all areas of the lab including Blood Bank, Coagulation, Chemistry, Serology, Hematology, Special Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Microbiology
Blood Bank testing includes ABO/Rh, Antibody Screen and Crossmatching. Ab ID is sent out.
Microbiology testing includes Gram Stains and culture set-up.

Roche c6000 and c311; Sysmex XN; Stago Compact Max; BACT/ALERT 3D; Ortho Gel Blood Bank; Clinitek Advantus; Cepheid Genexpert

Required skills and minimum years of experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Medical Technologist required; phlebotomy required.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required:
MT(ASCP) or MLT (ASCP) and BLS
Shift or schedule requirements:
variable 8, 10, or 12 depending on the shift they are covering
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/department
Madras 24-bed, Critical Access Hospital, Prineville 35-bed
