JOB DESCRIPTION

Hours: 7am to 3:30 pm as min. 5am to 5:30 pm is Max
Must bring own Basic Industrial Hand Tools

Responsibilities: Assembly of equipment per mechanical drawings. Ensure that changes and problems get documented and communicated. Carry out assigned tasks with minimum direct supervision. Execute ISO Quality standards. Communicate with the Machine Build Lead on open issues and progress during the build process. Successful execution of assigned programs as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area. Assist with preparing material for secondary processes (material finishing, heat treat, and deburring).

Effectively and safely operate: Mill, Lathe, Drill, Press, Surface, Grinder, Saws, Shears, Presses.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical education preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical part and assembly drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work on/under machinery.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must provide own basic industrial hand tools and toolbox.
  • Ability to obtain Forklift (Hi-Lo), Aerial Platform, Overhead Crane certifications, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training after hire.
  • Experience operating machine shop equipment (mill, lathe, drill press, grinder, saws, shears, presses).
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% (domestic and international, if required).

Education requirements: High school diploma, or equivalent certification. Related vocational education preferred.
