Must have 3 years experience in any 4 of the 8 following skill categories: Mechanical drivers, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Electrical, Welding, Plumbing, Electronics, HVAC, or CAD. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, blue prints, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and small groups. 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to include conversions, weight measurements, volume, and distance. 

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Client issued fork truck license.

Responsibilities:

SUMMARY Repairs and maintains machinery and equipment. Performs general maintenance on the plant and office areas, including installation, carpentry, or plumbing as necessary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.• Adhere to all safety procedures and best manufacturing practices• Possesses good diagnostic skills and be capable of recommending repairs, replacements or improvements.• Work from verbal and written instructions and use blueprints sketches, and schematic drawings.• Carry out and / or assist in the repair, construction, installation, and maintenance of various types of production process and auxiliary equipment.• Answer trouble calls and make repairs to minimize downtime.• Perform plumbing, pipefitting, carpentry, masonry, and rigging work.• Be on call for weekend or non-regular hours when scheduled.• Overtime may be required• Housekeeping duties in specific work area and general plant
