1sdt Shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
Must Have: Mechanical experience in CNC, hydraulics, and other manufacturing machine repairs. This person is repairing and maintaining all the CNC machines at the plant.
For the Maintenance Technician role we are looking for a few key skill sets:
- PLC Programming for Allen Bradley system controls
- CNC Maintenance including mechanical and electrical diagnosis and repairs
- CNC preventive maintenance (alignment and ball bar test)
- Hydraulic Press maintenance and repairs including secondary electric and oil heating units
- Facilities Maintenance and repairs to various machinery and equipment
The following are the types of CNC equipment. Not necessary but will need to have this experience for mid-max rates.
- Haas VF series 3 axis milling machines
- Mazak Quick Turn lathes and Mill-Turns ( various controls from T-Plus to Smooth C )
- Haas Mill-Turn (ST40)
- DMS 5 Axis Router vertical with twin rotary head ( Fagor 8055 control )
- Grob G550 5 axis horizontal with twin rotary table ( Siemens 840D control )
- Prototrak vertical mills
Other NC controlled equipment :
- Telesis Lazer marking equipment
- Eastman Kit Cutters
SUMMARY:
The Senior Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs assigned manufacturing related equipment throughout the facility in accordance with
standard procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications
DUITES:
- Performs maintenance, service and repairs of a complex nature on assigned equipment or systems
- Follows detailed operational instructions, procedures and blueprints while conducting maintenance activities
- Oversees the preventive maintenance system and provides required reports
- Determines preventative maintenance requirements for new equipment and trains equipment operators to perform routine maintenance
- Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains existing mechanical systems and associated equipment including air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, etc.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field
Ability to work within a team environment and adapt to changes in work requirements
Advanced knowledge of industrial electromechanical and mechanical systems
Proficient in recognizing and solving complex problems from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods
Able to read and interpret documents, schematics and blueprints
5-7 years in relevant experience
