Location: Austin, TX - ON SITE
Shift: Front-end Night Shift: Sun, Mon, Tues and every other Saturday 6pm-6am
Job Description:
Responsible for post-silicon lab activities related to performance and power characterization, optimization and validation of pre-production CPU/GPU products. The following is a list of key responsibilities that the candidate will assume: Setup power and performance measurement platforms, execute power and performance engineering test requests, and support lab debug activities.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
-High school diploma required
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in a semiconductor test lab or manufacturing environment.
-Solid understanding of PC system architecture.
-Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and Python programming.
-Experience with performance, power, and thermal lab testing is a plus.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
-Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-Basic math skills
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
