Job Description

Director Cost Accounting and Revenue Integrity provides direction for the cost accounting and revenue integrity functions. Oversees revenue management in pricing, coding and the flow of data from clinical applications. Oversees the cost accounting application, ensuring standard costs are accurately reflected on financial statements and systems are aligned with broader organizational goals.

Job Description: 1. Ensures the accurate, timely, calculation and analytical review of all standard costs for billable procedures for all revenue producing departments. 2. Responsible for all allocation of overhead department costs in an accurate, timely manner. 3. Ensures the integrity of all standard costs as evidenced by the monthly and annual reconciliation to the general ledger. 4. Responsible for the maintenance of the hospital charge master (CDM) to ensure consistency and integrity in pricing methodology used and assignment of appropriate CPT codes for all hospital/physician departments. 5. Responsible for the monitoring of activities by revenue producing departments to ensure revenue flow is consistent, accurate and timely. 6. Responsible for compilation of key hospital metrics in an timely and accurate manner. 7. Responsible for other projects related to revenue and standard costs as requested by management. 8. Provides communication of financial data in a manner appropriate for the customer to ensure data is concise, understandable and relevant. 9. Directs and guides staff. Has full authority of personnel actions. 10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Experience: 7 years in Accounting with 5 years of leadership experience

Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or related field of study Certification(s): Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy
