Job Description

• Hyperion Planning and HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) experience required.
• OneStream experience is a plus.
• Orbit Reporting System (production support mode) experience preferred:
o Setting up production support environments
o Establishing SLAs
o Creating and managing support tickets
• Managing transition away from a 3rd party team providing application and delivery programming.
o Transition period estimated at 4 months
o Requires experience managing 3rd party vendors
o Ability to set expectations, define objectives, and oversee performance
• Supporting test automation projects:
o Reviewing existing testing scripts
o Determining requirements for testing tools
o Helping implement and operationalize testing solutions

Experience Requirements
• 5–6 years of experience in:
o Hyperion, Orbit, or similar reporting tools
o Management or supervisory responsibilities
o System or reporting design
• Practical ERP experience (preferred):
o JD Edwards
o SAP
• Power BI:
o Must explain what they have built
o Types of reports created
o Specific activities/tasks performed

Responsibilities
Client  is currently in search of an Oracle Global Data Warehouse / Hyperion Applications, Senior Analyst to join the Global Information Systems (GIS) organization at the Client Corporate Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
In this role you will act as a liaison to Client’s businesses and various customer groups as well as coordinate and lead the offshore teams in the support of the Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning & Essbase applications and an Oracle Data Warehouse which enables reporting consistency across the Client Oracle, Hyperion, and Microsoft SQL Server / Power BI analytical applications.
Your responsibilities will include investigating and resolving support issues, championing process improvements, coordinating technical work, and coordinating support efforts across various infrastructure and application support teams.
As a Senior Analyst, you will lead small to mid-sized projects from start to finish – working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage and track project schedules, monitor budgets, identify risks and communicate clearly with partners from across the company. Your projects may span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the key players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
Major activities/Key challenges:
• Demonstrate fundamental understanding of business applications, processes, and technology
• Establish and maintain an effective working relationship across the organization, with leadership, customers, and 3rd party vendors
• Opportunity to lead small to large-scale projects working with stakeholders to – plan requirements, manage and track project schedules, monitor budgets, identify risks, and communicate clearly with partners from across the company
• Coordinate and assist investigating and resolving support issues, technical work across various infrastructure and application support teams.
• Lead the discovery, planning and implementation of process improvements in individual or cross functional areas of responsibilities
• Participate in and support system upgrades, deployments, and technology expansions
• Assist in the support for Orbit reporting tool.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in Information Technology
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL
• 2+ years prior experience supporting Hyperion applications
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL processes and Data Security concepts
• Exposure or working knowledge of Oracle ERP modules - Finance, Project Accounting, Procurement, Order-to-Cash, and Req-to-Pay
• Exposure or working knowledge of Oracle EPM applications and tools – Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning & Essbase, FDMEE and Smart View
• Experience with Oracle R12 (12.2), Oracle 19c databases, PL/SQL, SQL, Linux
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to interact with customers, vendors, other IT professionals, and management.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
• Out of the box thinking to evaluate alternate solutions
• Solid leadership and organizational skills
• Experience of working as a member of project team
