Description:
• Responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting issues reported from customer labs and production.
• Expected to be part of the Production Tier3 support - OnCall rotation list
• Responsible to execute the SW upgrade or any specialty MOPs in the production network
• Responsible to co-ordinate with Tier2 and TAC teams to debug and root cause any production issues
• Responsible for development of product requirements, feature requirements, systems and
• Educate our customers on Client’s new products and services both individually and in a team environment.
• Ensures that customer commitments are achieved according to plan.
• Works closely with various support organizations, logistics, and cross- functional teams from SEA and Client HQ to achieve successful new product roll-outs and developments.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in EE/CS in engineering with 8 years of directly related experience is required. A Masters with 6+ years’ experience is preferred
• Understanding of 3GPP systems: RAN and Core networks, architecture and protocols
• Experience with RAN Virtualization solutions – EMS/NMS/OSS/OAMP design and development in wireless networks
• Must have experience with network management systems and design/support of high availability systems.
• Must have an understanding of Netconf protocol, YANG models & REST API’s, VES (Virtual Event Streaming)/SNMP standards, NMS/OSS interfaces
• Experience in authoring the SW upgrade MOPs and working with the customer to execute MOPs in the commercial network
• Experience in interfacing with SMEs and help with RCAs (Root Cause Analysis) of high severity issues in the commercial network
• Experience in High Availability and redundancy systems
• Detailed understanding in managing Openstack/Openshift/Kubernetes environments
• Experience in Automation & Orchestration frameworks. (ie: knowledge in the ETSI MANO specifications, OASIS TOSCA, ONAP)
• Experience in SW development with Java and web-based applications is beneficial
• Ability to travel sporadically during the project
