Job Description
Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Industrial Engineering activities for sustainment operations such as support time studies and continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor. The candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of schedule and cost performance index, data analysis, and maximum utilization. Must be a US Citizen .
-Apply advanced Industrial Engineering concepts and -techniques to analyze business processes and reduce waste.
-Interrogate data systems and look for opportunities to surface problems and drive improvements.
-Provide direct shop floor support including creation of crew plans, burn down charts, and performance metrics to optimize production.
-Own process improvement efforts.
-Document your work and train stakeholders and peers.
-Track delay & disruptions impacting schedule
Knowledge/Experience Developing Production plans
-Advance skills using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
-Proficiency with software including Tableau, MS Project, MS Word, and MS Visio
