Job Summary: The Project Manager’s role is to provide proactive leadership on assigned construction projects from the set-up, planning, buyout, execution, close-out, and warranty phases of projects. Project Managers are accountable for client satisfaction, project quality, safety, cost control, and schedule adherence, working as a team with Senior Project Managers, Superintendents, and Engineers. PMs conform to corporate policies and procedures, uphold ethical standards, and exemplify corporate values with an emphasis on integrity and service.

Duties/Responsibilities: • Manage all financial aspects of a project from job setup to monthly billings, projections, and final closeout to ensure that the project meets profitability goals. • Review & confirm subcontracts and purchase orders with subs and vendors to ensure we are getting a good margin during the buy-out phase. • Track project costs regularly to maintain financial awareness of projects • Develop a thorough understanding of the details of the project & contractual documents. • Manage subcontracts and purchase orders, in accordance with contract terms and conditions. • Collaborate with project team and safety staff to ensure a safe execution of projects. • Set up projects in project management software and establish all cost codes based on estimate. • Establish Schedule of Values with Sr. PM • Establish and maintain project schedule based on project requirements • Participate in schedule 2-3 week look-ahead with project team • Lead weekly project status update meetings. • Lead Monthly on site meetings with owners, engineers, subcontractors and internal team present. • Review progress with internal project team. • Review lead times on materials and equipment bi-weekly. • Verify manpower needs with Sr. PM and General Superintendent as project progresses. • Be the main point of contact for all project correspondence. • Coordinate the Site Specific Safety Plan (SSSP) with safety department and review before publishing • Prepare, review, and submit project change management • Maintain positive cash flow from monthly billings • Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to the Sr. PM • Review and Implement QA/QC Log and project specific QA/QC Forms • Review and Submit RFIs and Submittals to Engineer • Complete OSHA 30 training. • Periodic job site visits as required to evaluate progress.

Required Skills/Abilities: Requires the ability to guide, direct, and coordinate the work of multiple activities at the same time. Excellent organizational skills, ability to plan projects and jobs, prioritize work and meet deadlines. Must be a dynamic Rev.2 10/28/2022 individual who is client-oriented while keeping the company’s interests in mind. Education and Experience: • Requires a 4-year college degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field of study and/or extensive experience in construction management. • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Professional Engineering (PE) License are preferred
