The manager is looking for someone with a blend of technical and business skills. This role requires collaboration with the pricing team, cost accounting, product managers, national coding, and occasionally IT. They will need to be able to translate product footnotes (i.e. X item is required if you select Y item or Z item) into the configuration rules that national coding builds into our ERP system. They will also be responsible for reviewing item setup and pricing in the ERP system and submitting updates as needed.
UALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
- Bachelors Degree (Finance, Computer Science, Economics or Engineering) or equivalent experience
- 2+ years Finance experience with ability to understand cost, revenue, and financial planning.
- 2+ years in a pricing or sales support related position
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Strong understanding of pricing and system setup.
- Proficiency in SQL and other database management tools.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Access.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work effectively within and across Business units

- Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level
- Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction – prepare, provide and convey diversified information.
- Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). Moderate dexterity – regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination.

POSITION PROFILE
The Specialist II will act as a shared resource across the team in the specific field of assignment. This is a middle level role that will have experience with Oracle Bill of Materials (BOM)/Configurator, as well as expertise in pricing and system setup. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient system configurations and pricing.

- Review, approve and implement pricing in Client’s ERP system.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle BOM/Configurator and pricing setups.
- Conduct regular audits and updates to ensure data integrity and system performance.
- Provide support to product management team on Oracle BOM/Configurator functionalities.
- Generate reports and analyze data to support business decisions.
