Must be an experienced & skilled NX and Team Center user, 6 - 12 Month project, Job function includes but not limited to - Create designs and generate engineering drawings for all aspects Pneumatic Valve products. Able to establish interfaces with other components and aircraft structures, Co-ordinate with multiple customers and establish priorities, Understands the mechanics of how critical components fit together. Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as valves, actuators, starters, instruments, controls, etc. May be involved in the discussion of fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products. An intermediate to advanced level of GD&T Y14.5-2009 and up is required. A basic to intermediate level of understanding of materials selection is required. An intermediate level of tolerance stack-up analysis is required.
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May report to a manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Working knowledge in manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, forging, welding, brazing, and sheet-metal forming are also needed in this role.
