Engineer will be working with a team consisting of 2 other on-site resources (Eng and Tech), as well as remote Engineering team from Phoenix – Deer Valley. Primary function is the support, troubleshooting, and updates / upgrades of Test Equipment in the Olathe Factory. Currently production is being challenged with some Test Issues, and this team (and this position) is partnering with ISC to identify fixes and areas of opportunity for improvements. Candidate will have daily interaction with his Engineering counterparts, as well as ISC leadership and Engineers. Candidate should have Aerospace familiarity (experience) with heavy emphasis (10 yrs+) on Test Equipment design and troubleshooting –
Such as an Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or rack that contains multiple pieces of test equipment instruments, cabling, ITA’s, power, etc, who’s purpose is to Acceptance Test production avionics hardware
ATE (not product) troubleshooting, analyzing test failures with recommended changes, updates, things to try. Being able to pareto test failures and determine root cause of most commonly occurring issues. Candidate should be a Systems Eng with a strong hardware background. Strong communication to be able to articulate summary findings to others and interface with team, leadership, internal ISC stakeholders. Well organized and able to maintain a RAIL (action plan) with detailed and methodical approach
