Job Title: Hardware-In-Loop (HIL) Engineer

The HIL Engineer is responsible for the setup, integration, maintenance, and validation of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test systems used for the development and verification of power electronics, energy storage, and control systems. The engineer will work closely with controls, firmware, system, and hardware engineering teams to develop HIL models, configure test environments, automate test execution, and support product verification activities throughout the development lifecycle. This role requires hands-on experience with HIL platforms (e.g., OPAL-RT), test automation, and hardware/software integration

MUST HAVES

  • Assist the controls engineer in setting up the HIL machines.
  • HIL setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Test execution, debugging, and system validation.
  • Hands-on experience with OPAL-RT (OPAL RT) platform---Typhoon HIL platform is preferred but has to have knowledge on OPAL-RT
  • Test automation, and hardware/software integration.
  • Firmware and controls validation and testing.
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is a MUST

Shift:8.00am to 5.00pm

  • The successful candidate is required to be on-site from Tuesday through Thursday each week, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. This schedule is mandated for the entire team to ensure alignment. The daily hours are standard, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch break.
