Qualifications:
What do you bring? High School or GED preferred Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Experience working as part of a team
Experience following quality and safety standards in a welding operation
Experience MIG welding steel Experience with the Fabrication, Installation and/or assembly of Door or Window Frames a plus
Experience with 5S desirableCommitment to working safely and adhering to all safety standards
Attention to detail and ability to closely monitor work process to quality standards Physical ability to perform repetitive motions and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Ability to accept direction and communicate effectively while being open-minded and flexible
Ability to ask questions and proactively communicate problems to supervision Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to fill out production paperwork
Ability to use a tape measure, basic hand tools, and basic power tools

This is a great opportunity with plenty of incentives. Work a consistent schedule, Monday - Friday from 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM Starting pay is $30/hr. What’s the job? The Welder is an entry-level position to assist with the fabrication of fire-rated framing systems. This position will be primarily responsible for welding framing assemblies and grinding / sanding welds. This individual is responsible for effectively working as part of the production team while adhering to safety, quality, housekeeping, and productivity standards. Essential Functions: Welding framing assemblies and grinding / sanding welds Performing quality checks on product Participating in daily meetings for work instructions and production handoff between shifts Maintaining a clean work area, managing to 5S standards
