Some travel required -20%<br /><br />1st shift<br /><br />The Division Supply Chain Quality Engineer functions within a matrixed organization, reporting directly to the Division Supply Chain Quality Manager. This role will support the Aerospace Group supplier improvement strategy.<br /> <br /> This role is responsible for regularly reviewing supplier capabilities and working with existing suppliers to ensure their full contract compliance as well as actively monitoring and acting upon supplier quality and delivery performance shortfalls against contractual obligations, scorecards and key performance indicators in accordance the division supply chain strategy.<br /> This roles also works with Group resources and Divisional peers to focus on supporting our customers by providing a consistent supplier experience resulting in quality parts delivered on time at a fair price<br /> <br /> The successful candidate will actively contribute to the following:<br /> &bull; Supplier Improvement - In depth problem solving and root cause corrective action for quality and when requested, delivery issues. Seeks feedback from suppliers to drive continuous improvement of quality systems and processes.<br /> &bull; Zero Defect Implementation, Growth and Sustainment â Facilitate on-site supplier Zero Defect initiation and penetration to promote supplier predictability.<br /> &bull; Supplier Prequalification/qualification - Evaluating a supplier's quality management, organizational structure, quality capacity, capability and other factors before initial work placement or work transfer.<br /> &bull; New Product Development - Participating with cross-functional teams to develop new products or changes to existing products.<br /> &bull; Ensuring Process Parameters are Understood- Working with suppliers and Client Engineering teams to define and communicate product/process parameters to help suppliers meet product requirements. Also managing the same activities as conducted by sourced (3rd party) agencies outside of Aerospace. Secondary function is to perform various activities associated with materials and processes investigations, for example, failure analysis using fractography, image analysis, metallographic analysis and utilizing instruments such as the Scanning Electron Microscope (including Energy Dispersive X-Ray analysis) to arrive at root cause and corrective actions for various types of aircraft components. The Emergency Financial Representative is responsible for up-front POS collections, along with financially securing patients accounts by setting up appropriate financial arrangements with patients to avoid bad debt. The Emergency Financial Representative when appropriate assists patients in accessing programs such as Medi-Cal, Uncompensated Care, and Hospital Presumptive Eligibility. Emergency Financial Representative will focus on individual performance in registration and financial counseling, Key Performance Indicators and expediting approvals by gathering and completing forms before the patient is discharged from the Emergency department. Emergency Financial Representative will continue to enhance their registration and the fundamental financial knowledge and skill set required and expected of this role, which is inclusive of the diverse financial programs offered at Client. The Emergency Financial Representativeâs interaction with patients will only transpire after a medical screening exam has been performed. All patients are seen regardless of their insurance coverage or their ability to pay. Researches and develops technology with an R&D and product development focus.<br /> Performs requirements development and management, including elicitation, analysis, validation, and communication of customer needs/expectations; decomposes customer requirements into product, component, and interface requirements; establishes and maintains bidirectional traces through requirements changes.<br /> Makes technical proposals and presentations to various internal and customer groups to influence business decisions. Maintains and takes steps to protect company intellectual property.<br /> Conducts system analysis (including trade studies) and functional/performance tests pertaining to the development of new designs, methods, materials, equipment or processes and completes required documentation by determining required actions, performing or directing completion of tasks and publishing findings and/or results.<br /> Compiles and analyzes operation, test, and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified products and systems. Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products, or equipment, when necessary, data are insufficient or conformation by testing is advisable.<br /> Investigates, researches, and operationalizes new technologies in specialty or related areas to improve cost and performance by applying advanced engineering design methods, theories, and research techniques.<br /> Maintains advanced level of professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, benchmarking best practices, and/or participating in professional associations.<br /> Acts as consultant to management on technical and project-related matters. Serves as a functional expert. Identifies mentoring and development needs; serves as a mentor for other employees.</p>  <p>&nbsp;</p>  <p><strong>Job Requirements/Qualifications:</strong><br /> <br /> Bachelorâs degree (BS) (or Professional Engineer (PE) certificate) in engineering or a science technical discipline; Masterâs degree (MS) preferred.<br /> Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through minimum of 7 years of related experience; specific experience in Thermal Systems strongly preferred.<br /> Comprehensive, advanced knowledge of product or domain engineering theories, principles, industry practices, concepts, techniques, government regulations, and policies, including ISO-9000/9001 and AS9100.<br /> Demonstrated ability to research, develop, and integrate new technologies.<br /> Strong written and verbal communication skills and conceptual acuity to establish and maintain technical alignment across all stakeholders, and to influence varied audiences to gain support or resolve issues. Makes effective presentations on complex topics to top management, customers, and/or other key stakeholders.<br /> Ability to apply and integrate knowledge of other related engineering areas or experts to own area of expertise.<br /> Working knowledge of MBSE principles; practical experience applying MBSE principles on formal development programs using tools like Cameo.<br /> Proficiency with specialized data analysis, and engineering design tools.<br /> Ability to establish and track performance to goals and objectives to complete complex or major projects and provide direction to the team at project milestones.<br /> Ability to respond to significant inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or other internal teams.<br /> Must be a U.S. Citizen.</p>]]></description>
