The Division Supply Chain Quality Engineer functions within a matrixed organization, reporting directly to the Division Supply Chain Quality Manager. This role will support the Aerospace Group supplier improvement strategy.

This role is responsible for regularly reviewing supplier capabilities and working with existing suppliers to ensure their full contract compliance as well as actively monitoring and acting upon supplier quality and delivery performance shortfalls against contractual obligations, scorecards and key performance indicators in accordance the division supply chain strategy.
This roles also works with Group resources and Divisional peers to focus on supporting our customers by providing a consistent supplier experience resulting in quality parts delivered on time at a fair price

The successful candidate will actively contribute to the following:
• Supplier Improvement - In depth problem solving and root cause corrective action for quality and when requested, delivery issues. Seeks feedback from suppliers to drive continuous improvement of quality systems and processes.
• Zero Defect Implementation, Growth and Sustainment – Facilitate on-site supplier Zero Defect initiation and penetration to promote supplier predictability.
• Supplier Prequalification/qualification - Evaluating a supplier's quality management, organizational structure, quality capacity, capability and other factors before initial work placement or work transfer.
• New Product Development - Participating with cross-functional teams to develop new products or changes to existing products.
• Ensuring Process Parameters are Understood- Working with suppliers and Client Engineering teams to define and communicate product/process parameters to help suppliers meet product requirements. Supports processes to manage risk through supplier engagement.
• Customer/Product Qualification/Approvals - Completing or managing the completion of source inspections, supplier first article inspection reports, PPAP’s or facilitating customer work transfer approvals.
• Supports supplier work transfer by supporting Supply Chain Work Transfer High Performance Teams as directed.
• Quality Management System Oversight Audits - In cases where suppliers do not have an AS9100 registered QMS, audits must be performed to ensure suppliers comply with Client quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supplier Quality Administration - Advancing Supplier Quality strategies, maintaining required supplier quality records and supporting oversight or regulatory audits, as necessary.

EDUCATION:
§ Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering or a technical field
§ Experience working in or with Operations, Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing disciplines is a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
§ 2-4 years of related experience (Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, aerospace manufacturing preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
§ A thorough knowledge of AS9100, Nadcap, APQP/PPAP processes
§ Experience with aerospace Zero Defect concepts
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
§ Effectively solve problems, assess and implement continuous improvement techniques, use business application software and/or specialized data analysis tools, to measure achievement to objectives, complete projects, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
§ Experience with state-of-the-art inspection engineering/assurance techniques, processes, procedures, instruments, theories and principles including PFMEA, SPC and the use of control plans.
§ Prefer any of the following certifications: AS9100 Lead Auditor, ASQ Quality Auditor, ASQ Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Green, Yellow or Black Belt Certification
§ Effective use of Microsoft software tools for communications and presentations.
§ Up to 25% domestic and international travel may be required to both customers and suppliers to support the division's goals.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Emergency Financial Representative is responsible for ensuring reimbursement to Client from patients or other responsible parties along with assisting patients in understanding their health care insurance coverage by determining eligibility, benefits and utilization requirements. The Emergency Financial Representative is responsible for up-front POS collections, along with financially securing patients accounts by setting up appropriate financial arrangements with patients to avoid bad debt. The Emergency Financial Representative when appropriate assists patients in accessing programs such as Medi-Cal, Uncompensated Care, and Hospital Presumptive Eligibility. Emergency Financial Representative will focus on individual performance in registration and financial counseling, Key Performance Indicators and expediting approvals by gathering and completing forms before the patient is discharged from the Emergency department. Emergency Financial Representative will continue to enhance their registration and the fundamental financial knowledge and skill set required and expected of this role, which is inclusive of the diverse financial programs offered at Client. The Emergency Financial Representative’s interaction with patients will only transpire after a medical screening exam has been performed. All patients are seen regardless of their insurance coverage or their ability to pay. The Emergency Financial Representative will complete the comprehensive training program and certification as required to facilitate eligibility for Hospital Presumptive Eligibility qualifications when necessary.

• Knowledge of eligibility requirements for Medi-Cal, Hospital Presumptive Eligibility Program, Medicare, Covered California, Cobra, limited benefit plans, VVC and Uncompensated Care Programs. IPA knowledge

• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Certification within three (3) months of hire date
• LA City Fire Card within 2 week of employment (PIHGS Only)

Preferred:

When necessary, initiate and complete the application process for HPE or Uncompensated benefits by assisting patients with the completion of all the necessary paperwork. Demonstrates a consistent level of performance and productivity by ensuring all insurance, demographics and eligibility information is obtained and entered into the registration and financial system accurately and notifies appropriate hospital and eligibility staff of changes. Always strives to make good use of time, seeks out work that needs to be done, (ex. works follow up accounts where payment was not secured from previous day, runs assigned reports on a daily bases to ensure financial documentation is entered in a timely manner, etc.,) reports free time to supervisors to provide assistance with other department requirements if needed. Responsible for completing all assigned procedures during shift without sacrificing the quality of work. Responsible for communicating and documenting the financial conversation with patient to support what was financially secured or discussed, along with any financial arrangement made that will affect the account. Contributes valuable insight on improving workflow for department and decreasing patient wait times. Limits personal phone calls to breaks and lunches.

Job Title: Hardware Engineer

Knowledge of analog circuit design, digital electronics design, digital signal processing. LabVIEW desirable. Experience and training in the military/aerospace industry highly desirable.

3+ years experience with electronic circuits and systems design, integration and testing. Knowledge of motor drivews and controls is desirable. Experience with the use of standard lab test equipment. Familiar with one or more of the following: OrCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW or VHDL. Defense or aerospace industry experience desired. PCB layout experience desired.

JOB SUMMARY
The Hardware Engineer Temp will have a minimum of 3+ years of electronic circuits and systems design, integration and testing experience. Knowledge of RF systems or motor drives and controls is desirable. Experience with the use of test equipment, such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, DMMs, and signal generators. Knowledge of project engineering methods and troubleshooting techniques for electronic circuitry. Knowledge of test report and procedure generation. Familiar with one or more of the following: OrCAD, MATLAB, LabView, and/or VHDL.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Must have training with one or more of the following:

B.S.E.E. degree from and accredited university or equivalent; and 3+ years related experience and/or training.

Masters in Electrical Engineering related field or an MBA is considered a plus. Experience and training in the Military/Aerospace Industry is desirable. Professional and/or technical certifications from accredited educational and vocational institutions desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sets up and runs multiple production machines. Performs machine operations (including reworking parts)
such as cutting, shaping, deburring, forming, drilling, and reaming parts. Performs machine operations where the
materials, tooling, and sequence of operations have been pre planned and established. Makes necessary machine
adjustments and reports improper machine functioning or cutting action for correction.
2. Aligns and fastens work using standard fixtures and established methods.
3. Installs and adjusts cutting tools consistent with type and size of material being machined.
4. Follows established manufacturing methods using standard production machines, materials, and tooling.
5. Adjusts feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to machine quality parts, per documentation.
6. Operates hand and power tools to deburr precision and complex machine parts in accordance with semicomplicated
engineering blueprints and route sheets to close tolerances.
7. Inspects parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as gages, calipers,
micrometers and comparators. Uses various types of magnification equipment (including a microscope) to detect
and avoid damage to surfaces and critical areas. Visually inspects parts for burrs or damaged machined surfaces.
8. Routinely maintains equipment to ensure cleanliness, accuracy, and reliability specific to division
requirements.
9. Accurately and regularly performs statistical process control (SPC) specific to division requirements.
10. Actively implements lean initiatives by identifying and providing suggestions on areas for improvement.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (BS) (or Professional Engineer (PE) certificate) in engineering or a science technical discipline; Master’s degree (MS) preferred.
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through minimum of 7 years of related experience; specific experience in Thermal Systems strongly preferred.
Comprehensive, advanced knowledge of product or domain engineering theories, principles, industry practices, concepts, techniques, government regulations, and policies, including ISO-9000/9001 and AS9100.
Demonstrated ability to research, develop, and integrate new technologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and conceptual acuity to establish and maintain technical alignment across all stakeholders, and to influence varied audiences to gain support or resolve issues.
